The potent concoction spelling out Witches’ Brew confronts the viewer with snapshots of the precarious state of today’s global security in which the specter of nuclear war looms large on the horizon. As the denouement of the Lamentations series, the panels in this work map a trajectory from historical to contemporary matters of war that could, if left unattended, lead to untold consequences.
